Gaming has come a long way since then, with millions of consoles and billions of video games being sold. But what does the future hold for gaming? Here are five videos that show what the future of gaming could look like.
Virtual Reality Gaming
Oculus Rift is new and I reckon in the future to them it's like a 1950 TV is big bulk and has bad graphics and to damn expensive for its bad quality! like in the future virtual gaming will offer a lot more realistic experience. Virtual reality could be like in the movie iron man where he has all these amazing projections and he just uses his hands. Gaming software contacts could be a future of just popping them in your eyes and boom a video game very portable and well I would say pretty cool.
Augmented Reality
Augmented Reality is similar to Virtual reality but it would build onto your surroundings, If you have played with a Nintendo they have this game where they build onto surrounding with this flying head well its not as gory as it sounds but its really basic and in the future they reckon they could make it seem really realistic and basically blending in with the background which would be amazing . Imagine if you could also program what you could put in the situation with technology advancing all that is possible and I would be very interested to see how far it gets.
Motion Capture
Motion capture you would of heard of this before from companies such as Microsoft releasing devices like the Kinect. Well this technology can be taken a lot further such as gamers doing small movements to control objects in games basically instead of using a controller.
Cloud Gaming
Lagging in games is so annoying weather its ping from bad WiFi or the game being to big to process cloud gaming could shoot that lag out of the window. Cloud gaming would have companies have a server which you would need to connect to access the game this means great graphics wouldn’t be affected by a crappy computer and the speed would be non-affected by a computer either this may even help stop game piracy!
